Green Smoothie Recipes

My favorite Green Smoothie Recipe:

1-2 Bananas
1-2 Cups of Pineapple
1 Mango
1 cup frozen fruit
.5 Pounds of Spinach
2 Tablespoons Vitamineral Green

This usually makes 2 large smoothies so feel free to adapt the measurements to your needs.

My favorite frozen fruit to use is the Whole Foods Frozen Organic Tropical Blend. Not only is it the least expensive frozen fruit they offer, but the flavors tend to compliment most recipes very well. As I mentioned before, I really like to add something frozen for temperature and consistency and this really fits the bill. The Organic Tropical Fruit blend consists of Bananas, Strawberries, and Pineapple. I also keep bags of all sorts of frozen fruits from Whole Foods on hand to mix it up including Blueberries, Mango, Pineapple, Strawberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, and Mixed Berries. I always stock up on the bags of frozen fruit when they go on sale and suggest you do too!
